Addressing some frequently asked questions about Library of Lost Hearts:
About the online book launch:
1. When will Library of Lost Hearts be available online?
It will be available for order on Sunday 29/9/24 at 4pm on this website only.
2. How much is the book?
It is RM39.90 each, including the gifts and merch mentioned below.
3. Is this a limited edition? Will it be available after the first print gets out of stock?
Yes and yes.The first print limited because the next reprint to be distributed to bookstores will not have the exclusive content. I will hold all of the first print edition before allowing bookstores and other people to sell them (call it attachment issues or whatever).

4. Do you accept Shopee Pay/ TNG?
Yes. Payments can be done via FPX, credit/ debit card or E-wallet such as Shopee Pay, TNG, GrabPay and Boost.
5. What are the free gifts?
You're probably confused because I have so many free gifts. So here is a table:

6. Do you ship internationally?
This website only ships all over Malaysia and Singapore only. However, Library of Lost Hearts will be available at imanshoppe.com later and they do ship worldwide.
7. Will this book be available at Shopee/ Tiktokshop?
For now, no. Because I will be handling the sales and the shipping again this time and I would like to focus on one channel for the launch week (I'm only one person haha)
There is no plan for Shopee and Tiktok yet. If you're keen on getting the limited first print edition and the freebies, I suggest getting it on the launch day.
8. Is this a hardcover version?
No, we have no hardcovers for the launch because it takes too long to print and I have to publish before I start working in October. However, the first print is a limited edition.
9. How much is shipping?
Semenanjung: RM 8
Sabah/ Sarawak: RM 17
Singapore: RM35

10. When will the book be shipped?
Generally, as soon as possible. We will ship the first batch on Monday so the quicker you checkout, the faster your book will ship. Your books will arrive by this week if all packing goes well.
Like before, the books will be packed by my family and myself at home so our processing will take time.Thank you for your understanding.
After launch week, your books will be shipped normally within 2-3 business days.
11. I worry the book will arrive damaged.
We try our BESTEST to pack your books safely with thick bubble wrap and a box to protect your book, no additional cost. So, even if abang pos throws your parcel, only the box will be damaged because the book is secured inside. This is the best effort that we can do and so far even with thick books like Not Here to Stay, this method has delivered books safely with no defects.
12. How do I know if I am one of the first 500 buyers?
You will be able to select and check out the "First 500 buyers" variation of the listing if you are one of the 500 buyers. It will show up on your order email later.
13. Are all the books signed?
Yes, for now. The first print will all be signed by me, the author.
*note that because I am signing all of them manually on my own, one or two may escape me. I offer my sincere apologies and hope we could see each other in the future so I could sign it for you.
14. Do I need to sign up for an account to buy the book?
Nope. You can simply add to cart and check out on the day. But if you are afraid that you won't have enough time to fill in your details and address, you can make an account here and fill in everything first.

3. What inspired you to write Library of Lost Hearts?
i wrote Library of Lost Hearts to understand the heartbreak of growing older and leaving the innocence of childhood. suddenly i'm 25 and all my mistakes don't just resolve on its own. Trial period for life has ended I was also plainly heartbroken by love at that moment, hence the stories you'll read later :)
4. What do you expect readers to take away fro Library of Lost Hearts?
I hope you'll find yourself in the pages. i hope you'll allow yourself grace and forgiveness for the mistakes you made to grow into the person you are now. i hope you'll find reprieve (or home) in your regrets.

1. What is the price for the launch party tickets?
It is RM 55 per ticket as you will get a book worth RM39.90 and other exclusive merch. BUT if you bring a friend and buy two tickets you will get it for RM 100 for both!
(If you checkout 2 tickets, it will automatically deduct RM10 in your order)
2. What special gifts will I get for the launch?
You will basically get all the gifts you'll get for online early birds (the book pouch, library card bookmark, stickers) and an exclusive "Short Story" magic mug and an exclusive "Moving Library" tote bag
3. What will we do during the book launch?
There will be a book conversation, the online launch, book stamps, meet and greet and other fun activities!
4. How to get to the venue via public transport?
Namida Garden & Event is only 1km away from ERL Salak Tinggi Station. If you are from Putrajaya, you can take the ERL from Putrajaya Sentral. If you are from Kuala Lumpur, you can take the ERL from KL Sentral.
5. What if I have bought a ticket and could not make it? Do I still get the exclusive merch?
The exclusive merch (mug and tote bag) is only for launch party attendees only. So, you will be contacted to arrange for shipment of your book (and basic gifts such as the bookmark, pouch and one sticker). A refund minus the book price and shipping will be issued.
With that said, please do not buy a ticket if you cannot make it to the launch. I will be very sad if nobody comes to the launch and buys tickets only for the merch :(
6. Is there a limit for the ticket purchase per checkout?
Yes. There is a limit of 2 tickets per checkout.
7. Can I bring other books for you to sign during the launch?
Definitely, yes!
